My LOVE towards PERI PERI started few years before when a CAB Driver dropped us to a very famous Chicken place in LONDON called as NANDOS…. We were hungry and had a Chicken PERI PERI… That’s it … it was the best chicken I have ever tasted…. From that day I am looking to replicate the taste but it’s not the same as LONDON NANDOS… however i am getting closer …
WHATS PERI PERI?
it's also known as the African bird's eye chilli. We think of peri peri as the actual sauce or seasoning, but the chillies are mixed with garlic, salt, paprika and herbs to make the seasoning and then mixed in to olive oil, lemon and vinegar to make the sauce.
HOW TO MAKE:
All you need to do is rub the above PERI PERI sauce on the chicken marinate it well and grill it to perfection. Serve with lots of sides ….
